Terms of Service

By creating an account or using FC Collects (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

FC Collects lets you upload photos of trading cards, generate AI-extracted metadata and price estimates, organize your collection, and publish listings to connected marketplaces such as eBay.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

• Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• One-time credit packs are non-refundable once credits have been consumed.
• AI credits are non-refundable.
• AI scans, listing publications, and other metered actions deduct credits as described on the pricing page.
• We may change pricing prospectively with reasonable notice.

You retain ownership of the photos, listings, and notes you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service on your behalf, including sending it to AI providers and marketplaces you connect.

In addition, you grant FC Collects a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to retain and use de-identified card images and AI-extracted card metadata (such as player, team, set, year, parallel, and condition attributes) for the purpose of building, maintaining, and improving our master card catalog and machine-learning models. AI-extracted metadata associated with a catalog entry is owned by FC Collects. If you delete a card or your account, your personal copy is removed, but anonymized catalog contributions and AI-extracted metadata may be retained as part of the catalog.

You represent that you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any law.

You agree not to:

• Upload counterfeit, stolen, or misrepresented merchandise.
• Violate marketplace rules of any service you connect (e.g. eBay policies).
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service, our APIs, or our AI providers.
• Use the Service to harass others or transmit unlawful content.

AI-generated card identifications, grades, and price estimates are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are solely responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing any listing and for the accuracy of every listing you create.

When you connect a marketplace (such as eBay), your use of that marketplace is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for marketplace decisions, fees, suspensions, payouts, or transactions between you and buyers.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail to pay fees. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that AI output, pricing data, or marketplace integrations will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FC Collects will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
